During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the prime location of the hostel. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the gondola and shops, making it easy to access everything I needed. Another great aspect was the affordable price. As a budget traveler, it was a relief to find a place that offered comfortable accommodation at a reasonable cost. Plus, the social atmosphere of the hostel was fantastic. I had the opportunity to meet and interact with fellow travelers, which added a fun and lively vibe to my stay.

The staff was friendly and provided excellent advice on nearby attractions, including food options, walks, and stargazing spots. The common areas and shared bathroom were clean and well-maintained. While the interior may be a bit dated, it was still sufficient for our needs. The location is convenient, with the village gondola and a brewery nearby. a cozy and well-located hostel with friendly staff.

We had a fantastic time at this hostel for our family ski trip. The location was perfect, just a short walk from The Village and across the street from the shuttle pick up to the main lodge. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with clean bathrooms and no bedbugs. The kitchen, although a bit messy, was well-equipped and convenient for preparing meals. We loved the easy parking and solid hot water in the showers. it was a great value for the price.

The mattresses were quite thin and well-used, which made for a less comfortable sleep experience.

During our stay at Moderne, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the friendly atmosphere. The common area was nice and clean, and we enjoyed interacting with the other guests who were polite and cool. The kitchen, although not very big, was well-equipped and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The location of the hostel was fantastic, being just a 5-minute walk to the village and the gondola to Canyon Lodge. Additionally, it was only a 30-minute walk to Vons or Grocery Outlet, and the trolley passed right in front of the hostel.

I have to mention that we did encounter a couple of downsides during our stay. the wifi was virtually non-existent and very slow, which was quite frustrating.
